This was our first time to Tres Amigos as a family. The service was very polite and attentive. I’ll get to why this is only 4/5. My Mom and I were really looking forward to a good margarita. But unfortunately all they have is the premixed margaritas so we just opted for a soda. Besides not having many drink options the food was delicious. My children’s food was excellent. We will definitely be stopping in again. Hopefully they add some more margaritas that are more than the premix to their menu. Some mojitos would be nice too!

Always good food. Always fast and friendly service. Just wish we got more than a smear of beans. Nice when the owner comes and greets you.

This last Wednesday, Feb. 24th, 2021 around 11:30 am, I went to Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Charles City. First, the chips are perfect; they are warm, not too salty, and crispy. I liked their salsa as it was chunky and had the perfect amount of spicy. I ordered the Chimichanga with Chile Relleno. My meal came with rice and refried beans. It was delicious! One thing that I am never a fan of is fountain soda and Tres Amigos serves their sodas in 20 ounce bottles. That was perfect for me! The grounds were well kept and the tables were very nice. The food was quick, hot, and cheap. Here’s my scoring: Food taste-10/10 Cleanliness-10/10 Amount of food vs cost-10/10 Therefore, they scored a 30/30=100%= A+ With this score and the fact that the staff were very friendly and thorough in asking how our food was (not once but twice), I would most definitely return.

We had a medium regular margarita(huge) and a mango margarita. My mango one was excellent! Our dishes were huge and extremely tasty. They have a great outdoor area as well. A must stop!

The best Mexican food we've had in a long time!! Everything was so fresh, right down to the garnishes. The shredded chicken was perfectly seasoned and the salsa and cheese sauces are delicious!!

Nice decor and seating and clean. Wait staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. Food was excellent. Definitely the best Latin American Cuisine in North Iowa. They nailed it for our first visit. Thanks!
